Absolutely loved this book, I found that I couldn’t put it down, a real page turner. The characters were charming and the villains were both smooth and devious. I fell in love with some of the characters in this book and quite frankly, can’t wait for the next book to see what they get up to next! Would highly recommend this book, definitely an unmissable read in my opinion.

What an intriguing book, layered with mystery! The author, Hazel Smith, captivated me with the first page & I was hooked! The characters are relatable, the setting is unique & the mystery is confounding – until all is revealed. Hazel kept me guessing until the very end! Mystery Maid embraces accents & speech quirks, which helps form a vivid picture of each character. Maid Ivy is strengthened on this new venture in life by her mischievous puppy, memories of her grandmother, her faith in God, and her new friends at the hotel. I especially liked that Ivy was not the business owner, but one employee among many. Most people find themselves in her shoes. This is a perfect read for the beach or cabin… a delightful getaway to a most exquisite hotel in England. I can’t hardly wait to see what maid Ivy encounters next!
Super fun mystery that you don’t want to put down!
This book was so fun to read. I didn’t want to put it down. There were so many twists and turns you could never have seen them coming. The writing style flowed, making you hope the author will never stop putting out new books. There were a lot of interesting characters but not so many that you lost track of them all and lose interest. I could feel a kinship with the main character wanting to stay home and read a book and not wanting to deal with anyone. I like to give people enough information but not give away the story. I recommend this novel if you like fun cozy mysteries with quirky characters.
