This was such a great first book in a new series. It had it all – mystery, banter, murder, clues to deduct, dogs and new friendships.
The main character, Ivy Stone, is an American residing in London, England. It was wonderful to see her develop new friendships and I loved how they all have different accents for me to try.
The book was a page-turner and I could’t read fast enough to the end to find out whodunnit. Ivy’s dog, Monty, was a wonderful addition to the book.😊 – Vibeke
Ivy Stone is my new favorite heroine character in a cozy mystery series. She has a great character portrayal and an adorable great Dane as a trusty sidekick. The story line points to a straight away bad guy but at the last minute it does a switch up you never see coming. The story is chalked full of great Cozy parts and keeps you intrigued to the end. She has a bonus story in the back that is a prequel with recipes what more could you want. I would give this story six stars if possible. – Shelly P.
This book reminded me of Nancy Drew books. Every chapter left on a cliffhanger, which kept me reading to find out more. I enjoyed the characters very much. And the fact that it takes place in a hotel is awesome; there are lots of things that could happen in this setting and I’m excited to read more of this series. – Jennifer H.
